About Us

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a non-profit organization that helps women succeed and advance in engineering and other STEM-related fields. The mission of SWE is to “empower women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering and technology professions as a positive force in improving the quality of life and demonstrate the value of diversity and inclusion.” The Fort Lewis College (FLC) SWE affiliate section instills the same core values in our community by providing support, guidance, and opportunity to women in STEM-fields.
