The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Student Branch is dedicated to fostering a passionate and collaborative community of students engaged in aerospace and space science. Our mission is to provide hands-on experiences through the design, build, and launch of rockets in regional and national competitions, while also promoting exploration of the universe through astronomy and telescope-based observation. We strive to support the academic, professional, and personal growth of our members by offering opportunities for leadership, industry engagement, and technical development, inspiring the next generation of innovators in aerospace.

As a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Student Branch, you gain access to hands-on aerospace projects, including designing and competing in regional and national build-and-fly rocket competitions, where you apply engineering concepts in real-world, team-based challenges. We are an on-campus organization dedicated to cultivating Alaska Native Identity here at Fort Lewis College. We are committed to bringing together diverse groups of students to network, share, and learn about the rich culture and identity of all the Alaska Natives. Our mission is to work together to organize fun, exciting events on campus and allow students to get to know one another in an atmosphere that celebrates the values of community, Alaska Native style. Beta Alpha Psi will shape the financial and business information professions by developing members into ethical, professional, and confident leaders. We offer a space for networking with accounting/CIS professionals and possible internship opportunities in these fields. Our meetings cover professional topics in the field and presentations from firms interested in offering internships, career exploration, and charitable services. Get to know your peers studying in the same field as you and create a strong foundation for your future career!

In order to become a member, one must be an active candidate for at least 1 semester. This requires 60% or more attendance at meetings and a GPA of 3.0 or above.

We know that a lot of dance spaces can feel overly competitive or even toxic. That’s not who we are. We’re committed to creating a supportive, drama-free environment where people lift each other up, celebrate each other’s growth, and feel comfortable being themselves. Respect, kindness, and teamwork matter just as much to us as technique.
At the end of each semester, we come together to put on a show that reflects all the hard work, creativity, and heart we’ve poured into it. More than anything, we want every member to walk off that stage feeling proud, of their progress, of their team, and of the positive community we’ve built together.
