Join the Fort Lewis Powwow Circle for our weekly 2-hour drop-in practice. These sessions are designed as an open, community-centered space where students can move, learn, reconnect, and build confidence in powwow dance.

Each practice will include:
• Warm-up and stretching
• Opening round dance
• Running songs selected by group preference
• Category run-throughs (Fancy, Jingle, Traditional, Grass, etc. as present)
• Time for questions, technique feedback, and peer support
• Closing round dance

This is a mixed-experience space — whether you have danced your whole life, are reconnecting, or are completely new, you are welcome here. No regalia is required. Comfortable clothing and water are recommended.

Practices are movement-focused and community-driven. While informal and drop-in style, we maintain respectful cultural standards and accountability as outlined in our club agreements.

Our goal is to create consistency, strengthen dance skills, and build community through movement.

We look forward to dancing with you.
